Watch out, we warn you!
Medium-density fibreboard, mirror foil, LED

Olafur Eliasson's art is driven by his interest in perception and is for him a key means of turning thinking into action in the world. Reinterpreting 'Midnight sun' I chose a different atmospheric phenomenon - lightning. Although in nature they last for fractions of a second, it is impossible not to notice them and not arouse fear because of their untamed strength. That is why indignant Polish women thundered with lightning as a sign of anger, but also strength and speed of action. According to Ola Jasionowska, creator of the logo of the Polish Women's Strike, the lightning appearing on the posters was supposed to say directly: 'Watch out, we warn you. We do not agree to deprive women of their basic rights'. I am furious about the situation in our country and the barbaric laws against abortion. But I'm not going to give up, and art has never lost its potential for carrying ideas.
