The dysfunction of interpersonal interactions projects on space, which is a reflection of inner emptiness, uncertainty, trapping, strangeness, cold. A world built primarily from white tiles that bring to mind sterile (deprived of something, in this case - the feeling of emotions by the title hero) rooms (for example, a hospital). The large role of light and projection display, which changes the entire scenery depending on the mood of the scenes, emotions of the characters etc.

 

This opera does not concern the conquests of Don Giovanni and does not tell about his successes in conquering women, it only shows a man who feels the breath of death on his back. From the first scene we see a progressive fall, Don Giovanni is not successful, nothing can make him happy.
